- What does the Married Couples' course cost?
$75 for 7 day advance sign-up. $125 at the door. This fee includes 2 sets of manuals, and practice mats. For Business fees, please go to home page and and click 'Consultation'.
- Who is this course for?
The Marriage Communication Workshop is for married couples. Other course offerings: Core Communication for singles, and for one person of a married couple who want improved communication.
- How long is the course?
Weekend classes consist of Friday evening plus Saturday all day. See schedule for more detail.
- Do you have child care?
Please check the schedule for childcare information. Normally, childcare is not provided, but may vary by class.
- It seems like all we do is fight. Will this help?
We welcome all couples, but if you are in crisis or have other problems, we recommend you also consult a professional counselor. Although these classes are taught by certified instructors, it is not a counseling program. The skills we teach can be very effective in resolving conflict.
- Are people required to talk about their problems in front of other class members?
Couples only talk about topics that they agree to beforehand. We encourage talking about little issues like "who is going to water the plants" , rather than "hot topics". We are teaching skills, and they can be learned on small topics.
- We have a good marriage. Is this class for us?
Absolutely! Learning these skills will make a good marriage even more satisfying! Many happily married couples have taken this course and found it an enriching experience. The course is suitable whether you are newly-weds or you've been married 50 years!
- How much does the 'individuals' course cost?
The cost is less for the individuals' course than the married couples course, please email for more information.
